I have tried sony Gm 85 and batis 85 lenses on my A7rII firmware3.1 with Hélix gimbal rig and i have choosen to buy batis85 because i have the batis 25 (same shape easier to setup on rig) , it is lighter and it looks like AF is quicker.
I have been very interested by sony GM85 for AF but it appears AF is not PDAF in vidéo mode as i believed.
Could someone confirm me than sony gm 85 lense is not pdaf in video mode with firmware 3.1?
It looks like sony tell this lense could have PDAF in vidéo mode but impossible to select pdaf in the menu of video mode.... so to me, it is not and slower than batis 85.

There is AF noise problem on GM85 and back focus button doesn't run on FS7, add to that batis 85 is stabilised, to me batis 85 is a better choice to run on A7RII and FS7. Frankly I expected a lot of this lens...

speaking of the 85GM, there are report of the lens making loud noise when AF and metal shaving inside the barrel.
