PCMCIA 80pins?

The pcmcia slot on Dell precision m4300 is 80pins, will p2 cards 68pins work fine on it?

You've confused PCMCIA (CardBus) with SCSI.
PCMCIA is 68 pins only.
SCSI is both 68 and 80.

Dell says:
"
PC Card:
One Type I or Type II
"

it should work just fine.

From Dell's manual:

PC Card
CardBus controller OZ711
PC Card connector one (supports one Type I or Type II card)
Cards supported 3.3 V and 5 V
PC Card connector size 80 pins
Data width (maximum) PCMCIA 16 bits
CardBus 32 bits.

Is the same on Latitude D830. I order the precision m4300. Maybe is a typing error.

Further research still yields no results. Searching Google for the exact phrase "PC Card connector size 80 pins" gives only the manual and this page. There are also memory interfaces, PCI Express x16, and IDE connectors that sometimes use 80 pins.
"All PC Card devices use an identical 68 pin dual row connecting interface." - Wikipedia

If it is a Type I or II Cardbus slot, it has to meet standards. Otherwise, how would all those other PCMCIA cards work with that Dell other than the p2 card?
