The Matrox RT.X100 comes with a tweaked versions of the adobe product line (Premiere, After FX) to fully support the hardware. I have been told this by quite a few reps. Am I getting the correct information ?

Also what do you use ? Hardware / Software set-up ? Do you use a realtime card. Also what editing software do you use ?

I'm primarily a Vegas user, and due to lack of dedicated hardware support, I don't use any add-on hardware cards. Vegas is a very good software-only NLE, and with a good system, you can edit (w/effects) very smoothly.

i have the rtx100. i think its the same version of premiere or ppro. i havent noticed any difference installing the version with the rtx vs without

i use a steroid grown potato with aligator clamps stuck into it for a battery, and a LiteBrite for a monitor.

ouch!!!! i would say about a pd150, but i think the xl1 is lower.  even lower than a potatoe battery.  that not even cinematography/videography..its somthing way stupider..lol.  well some good things have risen from that heap anyway i guess. :) that dinosaur had its day.. put it to rest man.. lay it down....

...what a world..what a world .. not to change the subject , but imho its the same mindset that pits alot of old filmheads against the new digital technology. its like were trying to dethrone their god or somthing. just unreal.
