PC: offloading with Explorer, formatting on PC?

I know this has been discussed before, but I couldn´t find anything in search.

PC:
Can I offload by copying with Explorer and format within Windows like a normal HDD?
Or does the P2 card structure get destroyed then?


Can I do this in P2viewer?


The problem with P2CMS is that I first installed P2viewer, uninstalled it, now P2CMS` P2 viewer doesn´t work...

Yes.

No, the Windows driver knows how to format the card and create the directory structure.

Can I do this in P2viewer?

Yes. And you can also format the cards outside the P2 Viewer by just right-clicking the drive and choosing "format".

Make sure you're running the latest version of both programs; there was some incompatibility introduced when they were updated for AVC-Intra but I think that's supposed to be all resolved in the latest versions.
