I have a ton oa P2 material that needs to be logged & prepped on a PC for edit in FCP v6.x. What are my PC software options options for accomplishing this? Does the logging info get somehow embedded into the MXF file in a way that FCP will be able to read it? I started logging directly in FCP with the Quicktime conversion workflow intact simply because we didn't want to change our methodology midstream AND we worked it into our workflow re MXF backups, etc. SO what happens re QT file conversion on the PC side?
I need to hire a professional "logger" and apparently these guys use various PC apps in their day to day log-and-capture lives, so they all have PC laptops, allowing them to travel around as hired guns. I'm trying to find a solution that will let this happen. All info appreciated.
