I just upgraded from Premiere Pro CS3 to CS4, and for a brief period, I was able to view & edit my D90 footage. However the MainConcept MPEG Pro HD plug-in disappeared from the Export Menu, and I could no longer set the capture settings when starting a new project.
While I could watch my D90 footage in the DivX Player, in Premiere the video was frozen, although the audio played back just fine. Thus far, I've taken the following steps, none successful yet:
1. Reinstall MainConcept MPEG Pro HD v3.3.0.
2. Re-run Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 4.0.1 update
3. Reinstall Adobe Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Encore, After Effects CS4
4. Upgrade Adobe Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Encore, After Effects to v4.0.1
5. Delete MainConcept MPEG Pro HD v3.3.0.
6. Attempt to install MainConcept MPEG Pro HD v3.3.0.
It was during step 6 that I recieved the following "severe" error message:
While cleaning out the MainConcept files, I also deleted a CS3 plug-ins folder...I'm wondering if that might be the problem.
Any ideas?
If you are successfully editing D90 footage on a PC with Adobe Premiere (CS3 or CS4), could you please post a screen grab of your plug-in & codec folders?
Thanks,
Wes
