I was one of a two camera F5 shoot for a Paul Simon rehearsal video promoting his new single & album.

Both cameras were shooting 1080 in S-log3 cine burning in the Bert LUT "Arri like 709 true balanced". Lenses were a Nikkor 17-55 2.8 on hand held camera, quite often in center-crop to extend focal range. A Nikkor 80-200 2.8 on sticks (full sensor) on my camera. No idea if any CC or grading was done but Im guessing some contrast was added at times.

Cool. Thanks for sharing. Not familiar with this "rehearsal" video concept... but I really like it. Some nice spontaneous shots in there. How many "run thru's" of the song did they do to for this video?

Thanks, glad you like it. The question is really "how many times did they rehearse the song and we were able to film it?" Meaning, the rehearsal for the tour was the priority, we got what we got and really didn't have them do anything for us, very doc style. But to answer your question, I think they rehearsed it 3-4 times, quite often starting and stoping. Yes I agree, the natural (non-staged) event gave us some great spontaneous real moments. Was a great time and we filmed for two days, hopefully some more videos will come out of it.
