lol awesome job dude!! The hotel lobby and miniature elevator set was pretty bang on!

wow there were a couple of shots that I had to blink, wondering if you'd cut in actual footage for a split second.

@ 25 sec's, even though I don't think there is an ax/cooler scene, there is a kitchen scene location like that and of course there is an axe scene like that, so all that together with the wardrobe and lighting and casting (and the fact that he's in motion) really looked like the shining. For a split second I thought you were cutting between actual footage and closeups.

Holy **** that was awesome. LOVE the beer-elevator scene.

Crist also did the make-up on the short in my sig: R.P.D.M. Amazing dude.

Yeah he did good job, I'm not director , I am cinematographer and we used my camera. Had the camera for about a week at that time and know much more about how to control it now :(

Re: Crist...Yeah, laughed my a** off when I saw the makeup

great looking video... 7d have so much potential, too bad it has rolling shutter issues ( like scene with axe )

I kind of think we get a little anal on these forums because we're perfectionists. I challenge anyone to show that scene to someone who doesn't know or isn't looking for rolling shutter to spot that something is "wierd" there. In all,I can certainly live with the rolling shutter and just be aware of situations that it could crop up. There are tools that could correct it in post but I don't think it was all that needed in this case. Same goes for moire.
