I can't stand bitchin anymore. But I still haven't got a book, a letter, a card, or anyone on the phone at the Panny rebate Center.


Tuesday marks fourteen weeks. I've only been able to shoot hd imagery twice when i rented cards.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh! (that's the sound of a grown man crying)

Hey Freddy, you are doing exactly what you said you can't stand doing. And in case you haven't noticed it is not Saturday, it is Friday. I said in my PM to you that you needed to give it until Friday. Today is Friday, it is 6:30 in the AM, UPS is not delivering just yet. You will be receiving a book and letter, just as I said you would. You will be getting a 16GB card just as I said you would, You will not be getting the card at the same time as the book and the letter. I am hoping that all of this will be cleared by the end of June.

Hi everyone.
I too, have waited for a book and letter explaining the good fortune of a
16 gb card. Just like Jan said i finally received the book and letter
wed. 5/30/07. Just one problem....... UPS delivered the package ......
to my next door neighbor. This is the second time in a week the guy
dropped off on the wrong porch. All is well as my neighbor delivered
it when he noticed it....... waiting, waiting, thinking all was LOST,
sorta like that show my wife likes ,huh ? Wish they would e-mail track #
when they ship the card. Better to track progress that way.

I commend Panasonic for offering the 16 GB card as solace for delayed production of the 8 GB cards. They don't have to do that and I believe most companies would not. When I used Panasonic's service last April they were thorough, easy to deal with and prompt. (Acrtually a few days ahead of schedule) I believe this ompany deserves kudos in a world where we increasingly experience the attitude of "customer dis-service" (Have you been to Fry's lately?)

Panasonic's payback is that I am now considering purchasing an additional 16 GB card.

i'm just bummed because I pre-ordered and pre-paid for a 16gb card the day B and H started taking preorders and I still havent seen it yet!
oh well.
 
b and h has been so unhelpful with the 16gb cards, to expect someone to pay more than a month in advance is crazy and now were stuck waiting and they wont even tell you a date or your place in line when you call. its not very good biz
