I knew that the title of the thread would get your attention..... now that i've got it, has anyone heard anything about Panasonic making a successor to the HVX200? I know they just made the HPX500, but i'm sure they are making something in between the HVX200 & HPX500.... is there any wish list items? I for one would like to see:
1/2 inch or 2/3rd inch CCDs/CMOS with a bit more pixel density, doesn;t have to be too much more, just more to bring the resolution of the camera up.
small format like the HVX, only add interchangeable lenses, and a HD LCD screen.
Get rid of the mini dv tape transport.
while i'm at it how about the intra AVC option or whatever that is that they have on the HPX3000.... that would be sweet.
anyone else, have any thoughts? Panasonic has to be developing a new camera...... they must be!?
