So the panny tm900's iframe is suppose to be 960 x 540 resolution, but then, why does the video show up and plays back at 1080? Also, in my MTS converter program, it shows resolution to be 1080 under 'fiile info'
Some cameras have 960X* sensor pixels, then through electronics, outputs 1080. My pro HPX500 works the same way. The editing software stretches the pixel to 1080. No problem.
BUT, here is a problem with the TM900. The power supply. Here's a quote from another forum.. This guy is a 3D guru. Had TM700s before. All of the TM900 power supplies heat up and distort the HDMI output. You would think the Pany engineers would catch this. Turn on your camera for at least 2 hours, and output with a HDMI cable to your monitor,etc.

Nightmare scenario as I was doing live HD coverage of a chef cookery show yesterday ... had to rip out two TM900 setups and plugin my older TM700s LIVE and QUICK!
