Panasonic tapes?

I've been using Panasonic AY-DVM63MQ tapes for years since I had my DVX and have continued to use them with my XHA1. I have been out of the loop regarding tapes because I buy in bulk to last me a year.

Has this particular brand been discontinued? If so, what are you guys using to replace them?

my vendor tells me that the MQ have been replaced by the AMQs (advanced master quality) @ $6.69 ea.

From a quick google search it appears that the MQ tapes is still available. I still have a case of MQ myself. There is an AMQ series that I believe is replacing it.

I just got 30 delivered from B & H yesterday (AY-DVM63MQ that is), they also have em' in 80 min. length, but not worth the extra cost.
