Panasonic Service Center California?

Looks like I'm going to have to have my DVX100a serviced. I usually like to have my equipment serviced by the equipment manufacturer unless someone knows of another center that is factory authorized.

Does anyone happen to have the address and phone number of the one in California since I'm in Arizona?

The best one in LA is Digitron. (323) 887-0777 ask for Eric.
Rob's Repair in WA is also highly regarded. (425) 820-1200

I live in Northern California and after dealing with a local Service Center who were pretty much a:evil: holes and telling me it would take 2 weeks! (Media Associates... don't go there!). I sent my camera to The Video Clinic in Los Angeles and they had it back to me in only 5 days (including shipping time)
 
Interesting. I tried The Video Clinic once...that's why I recommended Digitron. :)

so i called and was quoted 225.00 for service and 90 bucks extra if i want my camera back in a day vs. 2 weeks. does this sound about right to you all? 315 dollars!! to clean heads/align. i'm getting some glitchy spots on my tapes here and there so want to take care of it NOW.

Sorry to bump an old thread but I've been searching the archives and this is the best I can find... I'm curious if anyone has any other thoughts on Digitron or Video Clinic, and/or if there are any actual Panasonic service facilities.

The Panasonic LA office said there was one in Washington, but they didn't know the number (!)
 
Send it to Robb's Repair in Washington, they have a lot of experience and they're way cheaper and the turnaround is within a couple days. Plus, they're authorized by Panasonic just like Digitron.
 
I also feel Rob's repair was reasonable. Spoke to Rob seemed like a nice person. I felt the Video clinic person to be rude and expensive. Digitron was ok but expensive. I would suggest never deal with Media Associates in Mountain View. He was not only outright rude but also promises more than he can actually deliver. Wasted fews weeks of my time before coming back and saying he couldnt do it.
