Well I suppose I've been called worse.

Phooey said:Not saying it's better than your Fujinon, Mediacre, but the Leica Dicomar on the DVX does use glass. If I had an expensive lens, I'd want an exchangable lens option as well. But, I'm not in that price range.

4:3 viewfinder and LCD is NOT a flaw. It's brilliant. You'll see.
Iris dial is... well, it's what it is. All cameras have it, except the XL2, which has an iris switch.
Barry_Green said:No, that's pretty much what I was referring to.
Mediacre said:See, I'm really starting to get excited about this camera now that there's hope it will record to off the shelf FW HDDs, but it all ends when I think about the lens. The small CCDs are also a concern, but I understand the price matter. But I just can't see myself working a prosumer lens when doing serious work. Just in thinking of losing the control and feel I have with my Fujinon makes me go crazy. I'll sure test drive a HVX200, but something tells me I will end up passing it, just like I did with the DVX100. Even though I wanted 24p really bad. But I couldn't live with the lens. It's the most impotant part in a camera IMO. Specially from an operational point fo view. That's why I'm trying to get some information on this camera:

I heard it will be "affoardable" and it looks very pomissing.
