Panasonic HDC-SD9 vs HV20

Hi,
I'm looking at getting a small HD camcorder and there seems to be alot of buzz around the HV20. I'm wondering why there isn't as much buzz around Panasonics camera, the HDC-SD9. From the specs, it seems like as good of a camera if not better but maybe I'm missing something?

HV20. SD9's CCD's are just old hat, to me. That small of a form factor benefits supremely from CMOS.

Although if you're planning to whip the camera around like mad then you may be in trouble from skewing artifacts, etc.

Canon HF10 is also a very kick-ass camera.

The SD9 has three 1/6" CCDs and the HV20 has one 1/2.96" CMOS. Since the sensors are smaller, you need lower focal length. Lower focal length means wider depth of field and less filmlike video. Also, the small sensors mean smaller photosites and less sensitivity. This is why I think there isn't as much buzz around Panasonic's camera, the HDC-SD9.

I've heard of "ghosting" or "trailing" effects on the SD9, as well as a myriad of software issues (as CNET put it). Sure, recording on SD cards would be great, but if the software can't support it, what's the point?
I have the HV20, and I couldn't be happier. I don't see much of the greatly feared "rolling shutter" effect, even in handheld video. My only complaint is the lack of 24p pulldown flags, but that's another story...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the SD9 feature a trio of lower-res sensors? The HV20 has one 3-megapixel CMOS.

HDC-SD9 Infinity Focus

Does anyone know how to get infinity focus on the HDC-SD9 ? On the H20, if you hold the Manual/Auto Focus button for 2-3 seconds you get infinity focus..I am trying to twin two cameras for a 3D project and I need to control focus.
