GH4 panasonic gh4 lumix 12-35 mm for real estate photography

Quick question for those who are using the 12-35.
On mine, the focus ring is stiff.
On my other panny lenses, (35-100 2.8, 25 1.4) the focus rings are smooth as butter.
I can move them with 1 finger. I never have to remove my hands from the camera body.
Just a fingertip will rotate it.
On the 12-35, however, I have to use thumb and forefinger and rotate with my wrist.
Is anybody else's like this?
Its still under warranty, but need to know if it's just a characteristic of this particular lens.
Hate to send it out and be without it for a couple weeks if it's normal.
Thanks.

(P.s. I also started a thread on this subject)
Thanks again

My 12-35 is a bit more "stiff" than my 25, but it's still very smooth and not hard to spin or anything. I can definitely turn it with one finger, though it's easier with two (and I usually always use two anyways since I hold the camera grip in my right hand and my left hand is grabbing the lens). If you feel like yours is very stiff though, and not smooth, then you might want to send it in just to be sure? Or at least get your hands on another one at a camera shop or something so you can compare it to yours. It's hard to say if there's a problem with yours just on the description.

Griffy:
its not brutally hard, it turns smooth, just needs around twice the effort to spin it.
The 25 and the 35-100, if you were just holding the lens in your hand, literally, you could spin the focus ring with just the tip of your finger, or your fingernail.
The 12-35, not so much. You can't just drag your finger on it, you have to make an obvious effort.
So the thing is, is that normal, or are the other lenses just ridiculously easy?
Unfortunately, no camera ahops nearby that carry the lens.
Thanks
