GH2 Panasonic announces upcoming firmware update for GH2 !

The Gh2 is a beast and I bet it used professionally more than the AF100. Everyone I know that has a Gh2 uses it to make money.

I sincerely doubt that.
Why?I never met anyone that had a Gh2 that got it to do consumer home movies. I never met anyone that owned a af100 period. I would think a lot more gh2s have sold than af100s and a good amount of gh2 users are using them for pro-video or filmmaking uses.

Well at least it guaranteed to include 25p from Panasonic's Product Specialist Mac Berggren: Google translate from swedish:

well i always heard 25P was not BD compliant[i hope thats the correct word] ,i always put my HV30 25p recorded material on BD no problems is that because it was HDV ,would AVCHD 25P be the non compliant 25P.

BD compliant meens source material that can be edited and burned on Blu Ray disc,25P HDV 1080x1440 was no problem for me but is AVCHD 25P where the problems are.Realy nice to have 25P on my GH2 but pointless if i cant make BDs.

Strictly speaking, 25p native isn't blu-ray compliant, but there are plenty of 25p blu-ray, BBC issued a number of them. It's done by either encoding the progressive content as interlaced, or using a fake interlace flag. You can think of it as 25p in 50i, similar to what "25p HDV" is
