I sold my 14-42 to get this 14-140...
I'm finding it too heavy to carry it around everyday. The only reason I purchased it was its supposed AF speed and silence
Is it that quicker and quieter compared to the 14 and 20?
I plan on doing stills first and foremost and I generally use the kit lens at its widest setting for cityscapes or some where around the 20s for tighter crops
20mm is a pig for AF for video and noisy too. i always reach for the kit if i need AF and no low light. if it is stills you are after then 20mm is a keeper but for video + AF cant beat the kit lens. 20mm is only good for manual focus lock for video. i also have the 14, it has fast AF for stills, dunno about AF for video though. have yet to play with it but i think its quieter than the 20.
