The Panasonic gold class 10 are hardly old technology. Refurbs are fine. At $40. each it was a good deal. I have five of these exact model and have worked flawless for a year. I saved $30 on very good SDHC cards.

i dont know, but as i understand refurbished are previously used or ordered at least and then got returned to manufacture for some reasons , if the new coast 20 usd more - i would go with new + life time warranty means something.....

also Panasonic gold class 10 sdhc is older tech than SDHC UHS-I ! as i know sdhc is around 30mb/s, the SDHC UHS-I are 95 mb/s - maybe there will no be much advantage when use it with af100 , but the minimum i hope the file transfer to pc should be faster...

oh and btw i just checked the Panasonic 16GB SDHC-UHS-I Memory Card (again new and younger tech then SDHC) - is 49.15 now

not sure if its gold , but gold color for sure...

its just does not seem to be reasonable to save 9 usd.... but maybe some one will find it reasonable...
