I think it would be great to have an option to be able to change from PAL to NTSC. (Perhaps a scene dial switch like the dvx has) i think that would be good for all buyers of the cam. (perhaps this is already in action, but just figured i would suggest it)

i thought RED is an universal camera without PAL / NTSC hassles unless those will exist with or without an option like that.. wait.. but it already exists a switch like that.. what are we talking about?..
