P2cms export problem on Mac

I have a 500 and I'm running into a really annoying problem when exporting the cards to the drive.

I set up p2cms, start transfering and at the end of every clip I get an error that p2cms cannot write to the p2 card. I click okay, then it starts moving the next clip, then same problem, cannot write to the p2 card.

So after every clip p2cms is trying to write something to the p2 card in camera and it can't so it pops up the error saying make sure the cards aren't write protected.

The cards are not write protected. So why this error? Is there some kind of setting I messed up?

We've got three Macs and we archive all our footage to a server where we pull individual clips in and out for different projects. I'm not sure raylight would make our lives easier.

What would make my life easier is not having to click okay after every clip gets loaded. So far everything else is working like a charm.

It's trying to do the "mac thing" where it writes an unwanted file to the card. The odd thing is that it's not writing to the card even when the switch is off. I don't have a solution for you there, maybe update your p2 drivers?

Whatever you're doing, you should have the card write protected before loading it into the mac to prevent the blips-in-footage issue.
