P2 Viewer Plus

Downloaded and installed on Win7. Works fine. Did have to separately download and install the AVC-Intra decoder to see AVC-I footage.

I didn't need the AVC-I decoded but I installed to see it if would help.... it didn't. I tried on one other Win7 machine still no dice. I wonder whats different about your machine build Barry ?

Lenovo W510, running Windows 7. Nothing really out of the ordinary, and -- I mean, I would expect it to work, I'm rather surprised it's not working for you folks, because it would be a little silly for them to release an app that just doesn't work at all, right?

I've had (and still have) P2 Viewer installed on this system, and that always worked... so I just installed "plus", and then the new AVCI decoder, and it plays all the HPX250 clips I've got on my hard drive just fine...

I just installed it today on my MacBook Pro (OSX Lion). Ran fine, though I just launched it...didn't have any clips handy at the moment).

So Wierd, I had P2 drivers installed but not P2 viewer, so I installed that, no joy, updated quicktime, no joy. Might have to wait for a fix, there is no error I just double click, the windows ring spins for a few seconds and nothing....

... installed and working here in the Oz outback ...

... on a Dell desktop running XP Pro and a MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard ...

No probs.

Does anybody know how much the optional ingest feature cost? I'm looking toward the verify ingest feature license. Unfortunately Shot Put Pro for Windows has been extremely slow in my request to get a simple file time stamp bug fixed. But no luck since earlier this year. This is an alternative backup and will switch over.

Tried to reinstall p2viewer plus and still no success: Win7 64... the old P2Viewer works but not the new one...it never start even if i open it as an admin.

Anybody ?

I betcha it has something to do with UAC in Windows. I have it (P2+) running on my XP and Win 7 machines. They are both set up with an Administrator user for just these occasions.
Keep at it though...the app is worth it.

Hey all, just heard from the software manager, there is actually an issue and a revision will be issued soon. The Mac version is fine, and with the Windows version it depends on what language you have installed apparently. They've fixed the issue and are going to release the updated version soon.

The software manager just wrote again and said that an update has now been posted. P2 Viewer Plus for Windows is now at version 1.0.7.0 and should hopefully work for everyone.
