P2 Viewer plays file but not FCP nor SpeedEDIT

I have two 1080i files from a card that play fine in P2 Viewer but one file doesn’t play in FCP nor SpeedEDIT.
The file in P2 Viewer has a purple exclamation point but plays perfectly???
This is the first of the 2 files recorded on that card. So it’s not that we ran to another card or the recording got interrupted. We were only recording with one card in the camera at a time.
If anyone has any ideas how to salvage this clip it would be AWESOME!

Purple exclamation mark means that it's part of a spanned clip, and the other part is missing. Shouldn't stop FCP or SpeedEDIT from importing it though...

Barry, I should have known you would jump in to help. Thanks!
I'm "almost" positive we were only using one card at a time for this part of the project.
I'll go back and load the clips from before this, but I'm not optimistic.
