P2 Viewer Drag and Drop?

Hello,

Im currently shooting three documentaries right now. Some days I have to shoot footage for two different docs. Is it possible to separate the footage by dragging and dropping in the p2 viewer? The only reason I want to do this is to keep all the footage separate for each doc, since they live on different external drives right now and I'm running low on storage right now. but if there are any other solutions feel free to let me know.

Open one project. Set the scratch disk to what you need. Only import the clips needed for that project. Then close it, open the OTHER project, reset the scratch disk, then import the footage for that project only.

FCP cannot do what you are asking.
