Hi, I shot a concert recently on 3 HVX200's in SD 480i/24pA on P2. Each camera was loaded with 1 32gig P2 card. The show was 2 acts so we stopped down inbetween acts, this produced 2 shots per camera/card. When I logged and transferred the clips in FCP 6.0.5 I ran into a problem. Camera 3 was fine, transcoded beautifully, no problems there. Camera 2 and 1 did not though. They both gave me the same problem, and the problem was only with the first act, not the second act. It only transcoded about the last half of the file. But the timecode starts as if it was from the beginning, i.e. Cam 2 transcoded file starts at 2:00:00:00 and Cam 1 starts at 1:00:00:00. In the log and transfer window, all the clips from all the cams (6 total clips because 3 cameras and 2 acts) all play fine from beginning to end.
Why are 2 clips out of 6 from this concert only transcoding about the last half of the clip?
I even went in and inserted in and out points in the log and transfer window for each file and re-transcoded them to make sure and I got the same thing, about half of the 2 problem clips video is missing from the transcoded file.
Only thing I've done recently to this computer is installed the AVCINTRA codec because it was needed for recent client project.
