P2 Reader for laptop without PC or Express card slot.

Dead end. No cheap USB reader is going to work.

As with all adapters, if it worked with P2 it would say so. If it doesn't say so, it doesn't work...

I understand the concept of "you get what you pay for." But, could you elaborate on why the Easy Reader USB or some other reader (other than the $1,600.00 Panasonic) won't work? It's all digital files, right? I believe you, I just want to understand.:happy:
 
Please do a search on this because there are so many threads on it.

USB doesn't have the bandwidth of PC CardBus Type II transfers.

That's the short of it.
