P2 "R-Series"

Is a price of 500.00 a good price for a used 32gig P2 R-series? I've looked at the prices for the economy series but still have a concern about the "shorter" life span... And I was figuring, even though the 32gig is used (and hopefully well taken care of), it still would not have a shorter life span like the E-series.

i just bought a used 32gb r for 350 on ebay. You can finf them cheaper then 500 used. B&H sells the new e ones for only 539..the used is worth a lot less that 500

i'm just a part timer so i'd rather go with a brand new e series than a "i don't know where this card's been" r series.

I own an HVX200 With (2) 16GB and (1) 32 GB P2 "R" Series Cards. I have had them all for 2 + years and recently they have been giving me error signs (Red exclamation points) when I ingest with Log and Transfer in FCP. The footage is still there in its raw form but I can not ingest properly. I have tried the cards on a p2 reader and through my camera. Other p2 cards I try also have issues so it has to be a setting in my camera. Any advice would be appreciated.

did you try to repair clips in the cam? Are you shooting to pn instead of p?
