P2 pal ntsc problem?

hi there,

i have a problem import P2 footage to FCP (5.1)
normaly i work with a HVX200 in ntsc, but now i have footage
shoot with a HVX200 in pal.
this footage i cannot import in my filanl cut.
(format is 720pn 24p, all shoot in 50f/sec)
what can i do??

I was posting stuff in the 'What Happened to Serious Magics DVCProHD codec?' thread and from what Barry Green was saying its that:
'FCP users in Europe are STILL waiting for FCP to support 720/50P mode'

So its sounds like its this. I don't know when they will fix it.

Also I don't think there is a 24pn mode on the PAL unit, just 25pn. Maybe you have a conflict set up somewhere in FCP [I don't know what it would be - sorry].

If you PM Barry Green he might know of any future plans or can probably advise on this.
