Greetings.... I offloaded my HVX 8gig card to a Lacie 250 gig Extreme hard drive using the camera. I followed the instructions from Barry's book, reformatted the Lacie drive, (it was empty), no problem. But what I have now is an 8gig partitioned drive for the P2 card , and the rest of the 250 gigs is unavailable to me. The only drive that shows up on my desktop now is the partitioned 8gig. I know that I reformatted the hard drive when I offloaded the P2 card, but does that render the rest of the hard drive as unusable for anything else? What I want is a fully available hard drive, with the P2 information on it, or partitioned... but not affecting the rest of the drive. I am sure I am overlooking something. Thanks in advance.
