Anyone out there with a HVX and a powerbook with FCP 5?
I'm very interested in a real world test of P2 ingest speed in FCP 5.
So if you can find the time please fill up a 4GB (or 8GB) card, and do a direct ingest from the P2 into FCP and take a timing on a stopwatch.
I would be interested in the numbers from both a P2 filled with DVCPRO50 files and a card with DVCPRO HD 720p to see if FCP differs in the actual speed.
Also it would be interesting to see if there is a difference with a card with one big file and one with many small files.
