I'm trying to import p2 footage shot at 720 24p into finalcut (6.0.3) using log and transfer. I've never had a problem with it before, but what's happening is that it plays back fine in the preview window, but once final cut makes quicktimes out of it the sound drops out after a few seconds and the image is slow and choppy - like a streaming video that isn't loading properly (if i play the files in QT they do this too). I've tried making an easy setup in fcp that is set to DVCPROHD 720p24, but that doesn't seem to make a difference. any ideas?
