P2 Duplicate Name for Clip

I recently shot a 2 camera short film. I've come across something odd: I hve the same clip name from 2 different cards and 2 different cameras. other than having an avid mediafiles folder on a separate drive, does anyone have any suggestions as to how to handle this. Can I rename the file and copy it into my exisitng Avid folder or should I try to transcode the clip and name it something else and copy that media into the avid folder? thanks for any input

Here's how I solved it:

open the card with p2 management (p2viewer) select the clip and export it (just copy not move) thins will create a new p2 card folder with that clip only and will include all the audio files and other crap that p2 uses, when the export is done, in the NEW p2 folder rename ALL the files in all the folder to something new. Make sure to leave the audio track number intact.
