I've tried to search this to no avail:
Has anyone had a "cannot copy ____(file name): wrong diskette is in the drive. Insert (Volume serial number) into drive" error?
I cannot seem to copy any files of more than 300,000 KB over to my PC. I have the firmware updated, have copied to this PC in the past entire contents folders with no problems...now I have to physically copy each video file, and all audio files over, which takes a lot longer. And of course I cannot copy any longer takes. These files are in the 30+ seconds range to copy and they get to 5 or 10 sends left and this error comes up.
The camera remains connected the whole time and the directory doesn't disappear so I don't believe it would be a bad cable. This is happening on both 8GB cards I have...
Additionally, the clips play back without error in the camera.
Update: Definitely not the cable. I transferred 3 cards to my PC laptop in the field and there were no copy errors. But going back to the xw8400, same problems.
