p2 cms no picture?

I have just installed P2 CMS on our powerbook G4. When we have imported clips We get audio but no picture? Any ideas why?

Probably don't have FCP installed on that G4, right?

Havent got FCP installed.
Didnt think we had to. As far as i understood, P2 cmc installed the DVCPro codecs. Is this not correct?

Not correct. On the Mac it needs the FCP DVCPRO-HD components installed.

yeah those are only a part of the FCS installer so you can't view DVCPROHD encodes on a machine that doesn't have FCS installed on it.

Is there any way of viewing our P2 footage on the G4 other than installing FCP?
