Can I rename my P2 cards? If so what's the best safest procedure on a Mac? I don't want to assume I can just rename them on the desktop, but if so that's great.

The newest version of P2CMS facilitates this as does p2 Shotput

No one has P2 Shotput working with windows?
Don't need ShotPut to format or rename cards in Windows. If you have the P2 drivers installed, it's just right-click>Format.

True, but having bought it I would like to have it do the format for me (it's the reason I bought it).

It formats the card for you? Even with the latest 1.04 version I get a directory ng error....it flashes and then appears to be ok. I tried to shoot today... my 16 gig card had come straight from the laptop with a fresh p2 shotput format. The card took about two minutes before "card full" came up.

I've been working off two 4's and an 8 for 2.5 years now... still work just fine, and I haven't really needed more.
