P2 card data to notebook/laptop in the field - recommendations?

Hi guys,
I need some help from you fine, wise HVX200 senior users.
I'm looking for a notebook/laptop computer, cheap as possible, small as possible, preferably with 250GB HDD to offload my 64GB P2 cards into in the field.
What I'm concerned about, and need suggestions for, is the minimum CPU specs, RAM, screen resolution and graphics card(?) to play back (not edit) all HVX200 frame rate formats especially the heaviest 1080i and 720p, at normal, non-choppy speeds.

Looking for suggestions for models that can do this, their specs, why they can achieve it while others fall short etc, the ins and outs of this subject, the theory. Links to reading materials on the subject also appreciated muchly.
What are you guys using in the field? There will probably be multiple answers. Some pros and cons of each, too, please.
It would also be great if anyone has gotten some good deals and can provide links on where to buy or browse such machines would be great.

If all you want to do is upload files, then most anything will do. Editing, or viewing will take more power. A 250gig drive in todays video world is pretty small, so that is one spec you might want to review or upgrade. You might also want to spec a 7200RPM drive.

Not sure if you are aware, but the HVX can offload directly to a HDD with no CPU needed. The cam cannot power the drive, you must power the drive separately. This works just fine once you get the hang of it. There have been a few threads about some of the cheapo drives not working for this, so you might want to do a search or ask the members about issues.
