Overheating issue on Canon HF200

I purchased a Canon HF200 and I noticed that it got very warm after 30 minuts of use. I figured that it might be a a problem with the camera itself and exchanged it for a new one but I am still having the same problem.

It is there a way to fix this or is this defect of the camera?

I shoot mine continuously for over 12 hours straight when I'm doing my webseries (I just plug it into the wall so I don't have to worry about battery life).

It gets warm, but...I mean, it is what it is, right? I wouldn't call it a defect per se. My Xbox 360 gets warm after being on for 12 hours. So does my television. The SD cards never seem warm at all. I'm not sure why people percieve this as an issue. Can a camera actually overheat? I'd assume that they're built to house whatever heat they might produce.
