AC130: Output DV Through Firewire While Shooting AVCHD?

Can the AG-AC130 can output a DV stream over Firewire while shooting in AVCHD, or does it need to be shooting in DV mode to output the DV stream?

I'd like to shoot AVCHD to a memory card while simultaneously streaming a live video feed to a MacBook Pro. The MacBook would be used to display the live video feed on a projector, and potentially webcast the feed. The feed does not need to be HD. However, the camera needs to be recording HD to the memory card while simultaneously outputting the feed.

As far as I know, the only way to do this is Firewire since the MacBook can't accept an HDMI-in or component connection.

There have been a number of questions about live streaming but none about streaming SD while shooting HD. Is it possible?

To my knowledge the firewire only works when in DV mode (SD) and the HDMI only works when in AVCHD mode (HD)
 
Correct, the firewire port is disabled when you are in HD mode.

If you want to have a computer doing streaming, it'd have to take an HDMI input; something like the BlackMagic h.264 recorder might work?
