Hi all. Just wanted to share our latest film that I am executive producer for. Shot almost two years ago with 3 GH4s and many lens but no vlog used.

We will be premiering the movie this coming Friday along with three others shot with the Panasonic.

Here'S the trailer: https://youtu.be/eEtUsXGcwJo

enjiy!

Looks great!

Congrats.

If I may ask:

GH4 throughout?

Lenses used?

Color space?

4K?

External recorder?

Thanks in advance for any of the above.

Thumbs up

Be well.

Thank you all. It's a low budget. We did a kickstarter and raised enough for food. Lol

yes all shot with gh4 in c4k and natural profile. No external recorder. Edited in 4K timeline, color graded on davinci. Lenses include sigma 18-40 with a generic speed booster, Panasonic 12-35, and voitglander 17.5mm. We used tascam 70d recorder and the sennhaiser mke600 shotgun mic. Gimbal, tripods. Also we did ADR in post for a few scenes.

Oh if you are interested lol here's the info about the premiere: http://projecte1337.eventbrite.com (three of the movies showing on Friday were all shot with gh4)

Just wanted to share this. This past Thursday we got the news that the movie was signed a deal with China at AFM. And they did because of this trailer :)

Congrats!
So could you explain a few more details? Is this a distribution deal? Without exposing sensitive monetary details, how does this deal affect your bottom line? Like, do they offer a percentage of units/ticket sales, or do they pay an up front charge in hopes of return on investment that you get no residuals on?

Hi, thanks and sorry for the lately, been busy with a few other projects now lol

A little bit about the deal, we have a sales agent (an old friend who repped me for my other features), agreed to take it to AFM recently and got China's deal, however, they only saw the trailer and we need to add 25 more minutes for it to be sold. lol (the feature was only 45 mins).

The deal was very much a standard with my sales rep, 50/50, so we will get 50% payment once each deal is done. This is basically an one time deal per territory, sometimes you can get more (dvd, theatrical, etc) but in this case, a flat out payment.

Now we are sending the film and others to festivals and see if it gets in, here's another project, a fan film show entirely with gh4 (except for the first part prior to the opening title). https://youtu.be/IA_dBpiXPhQ

our next project is a Martial Arts Comedy Musical...
