let him sue me!

i'll counter suit him by ratting him out to the NAZI's at NBC for stealing their SNL Will farrel BOC cowbell thing....

HE would vanish swiftly and silently in the night.

Heh heh... Actually, it's "Ha! That's funny!™:cheesy:". :)

Sorry, Terry, but "Ha! That's funny!" infringes on the trademark, "Ho! That's funny!" Which was trademarked in 1942 by an S. Claus. You can use "Hey now! That's funny!" or "Get out! That's funny!" with no fear of law suits.

Great story TC! At least he knows right off the bat that you have real taste in graphics. That's something that he can respect.

Definately a cool story TC. I think if you would have said you loved the wolves he would have known you were fudging it. He probably expected anybody with knowledge in VFX to say something bad about the wolves.

This reminds me of my chance encounter last night. I was at a show and I was out back and my buddy and I were talking to the lead guitarist from Shinedown. He was a really cool guy and it was pretty neat hearing about his tour stories.

Not as cool as yours, but I wanted to feel special too :)

WalMart does suck...I think the devil resides there in some form or fashion, Costco is awesome, but the bagels I bought less than a week ago already have mold...thank god for their generous return policy!

and yes target or "Tarjae" (french pronounciation)

is worlds better than walmart.

lol, i've been saying it "tarjae" for years. but i'll take a super walmart over a target greatland anyday. (just stay away from the old school walmarts)

marina del rey costco......nice! da kine brudda!:love4:

Nice story TC! That's awesome! It is funny how many people just strike up a conversation about film. I remember coming home from Virginia and on the plane I was sitting next to this guy, and he get's on the phone and he's talkin' about sets, and call times, etc. So, I asked him if he was in the industry, and turns out he was a set designer... He had done a lot of sitcom stuff, and was working on an indie flick at the time... anyway, cool stuff!

I had a guy strike up a conversation with me last night when he heard me talking about films... he was talking about his boss that made a sizeable amount of money and was wanting to invest in films and music. Of course my interest was piqued . . . until I caught a couple key phrases that uncovered his true identity.

He was an Amway (I forget what they call it now) guy - trying to hook me up with part time work that won't interfere with my regular job and will make me rich!! :cheesy:

It's Quickstar now. I have a bunch of friends who are involved and they all talk about how they are going to be making all this money but whenever I ask them how it's going they only talk about growing the business and how I'm a loser for working for someone else... Yet I pay my bills on time and they borrow money from me...

I wish you'd told him how much his stuff sucked on Polar Express. That whole movie looked terrible from a character perspective.

Yeah, that's exactly what we needed... a more stiff version of Tom Hanks. Hey, Bill, can you make it look just like the beloved childrens book - except really creepy?

Next up for Target's Own CGI Man: let's wreak havoc on Margaret Wise's Goodnight Moon.
