There was a post about me posting hot sh*t and I got suckered into a pissing match with PFP. I got hot over the way he started the thread, because I did not feel my reply to this thread was an attack on the original poster. PFP however took issue and began a new thread to get my attention. I don't John, this is the same thing i've seen on supposedly professional recording boards...I'm not buying the new Protools it sucks because (plug in any reason), its all symantecs right? Depending on your clientele and resources you upgrade and buy new things because they expect it. Ultimately its your knowledge of the tool that achieves the result expected. I work with Philly rap acts who find the DVX to be not what they expected to see (size matters) but **** they don't know that 50% of the footage in the video is from the DVX and not just an xl2.

I'm still not following. Why are you dragging this into another thread? Why take a shot a other members? Why the myopia? And I don't think Genre means what you think it means.

The best thing to do is forget about it and move on. There is really no need to stake claim to being the latest and greatest thing since water.

Yo, first off I never made that claim. Read my reply, I just got tired of the corny comparisons between two pieces of equipment that create a similar result. Very similiar in my oppinion being that I own them both. And on some real sh*t I don't have to be humble to make other people feel good about their abilities. Its the eye that makes the finished product what it is, are you honestly debating that John?

I'd like nothing more, flame fights are exhausting. I would like to say lastly that I did not intend to offend anyone with the initial response to this thread. And for those that dont get the hot eye, it simply means artistic and I try to get the most artistic shot I can thats all, and the ones that are'nt get deleted in post. Peace and chicken grease.
