One of my favorite music videos shot only on a t2i and 50mm 1.4

[Bongos121]

Shot this a couple months back. Only had a tripod/t2i/50mm 1.4/ and 2 lights for this shoot. Nothing else with me. Turned out to be one of my favorites that I've done so far.

Very nice, did you use a lower frame rate for the couch shot? Like it, very cool video

Thank you very much! I appreciate that. and I did yes! And then for the rest I shot with a little higher shutter speed for the slow motion. Definitely a fun shoot!

Looks great! Can i ask which lights you used?

Nice work Myke...

I like the visuals that you presented. The slo-mo that you utilized is very nice. That Kelly Kapowski shirt is fresh as well.

I do not smoke yet I appreciate you exposing us to your hallucinations haha.

Thank you! As far as lighting I had to pack the bare minimum so all I had available was 2 lights from the cowboy studio kit that they sell on amazon - http://www.cowboystudio.com/product_p/2000wboomkit.htm

Luckily the house has massssive windows and so even though it was overcast out it still let in quite a bit of light

Looks good. I was thinking of getting that same lighting kit. You made me almost want to pull the trigger on it

Lighting looks pretty good, and that lens is great. The only problem I have is you need to start promoting these projects better and find a way to invest. You have done several videos for this artist and hardly no one has seen him or you. You should look to expanding and finding a way to make money off of your talent.

Ya know Im kind of in that spot right now. This video is the first one we've really been trying to get out there. I've gotten it onto several hip hop blogs and onto some Portland based online publication sites. I just dont really know how else to get myself/the videos out there. Any advice?
Also thank you for the compliments. I appreciate it. And nyne7lac I think the kit was a great purchase for the price. I dont really have any complaints on em!

that was awesome. i loved the editing and composition. it would have been cool if you had new locations like halfway through, but it was still so entertaining. I subscribed man great stuff!
Heres my T2i video... I don't think it competes but hopefully you can appreciate it.
