One Million Posts.

Woohoo.

Today I told my girlfriend that I like DVXuser more than her.

Am I a jerk? No, this site just consumes me.

You sure about that? This is reaching pretty far back into dvxuser history, but, well, I think we can all agree that it's pretty gay:

Congratulations to the site. Excelent, informative, and with people that aren't affraid to share. Keep up the good work!

One million posts! Well done Jarred and everyone!

This is a fantastic community. We've helped each other out with engine trouble, girlfriend trouble and even camera trouble(!). There's always someone here who's willing to spend a few minutes with anothers problem, there's always some kind of help here, it's how life's meant to be!

Love this place!

WEll its 5:40 in the morning, i just finihsed watching casino, assuming the 1 mil wouldnt be hit til about 7 am, i figured, ehh i'll chime in tomorrow... But noooooo You guys actually hit it tonight. AMAZING.

2 years ago, when i joined i was a kid with no film knowledge, training or anything... i didint even have a DVX. But i kept reading and reading and learning and learning, then i started testing.... then after ifinihsed testing last year, i started working, and in a weird way, DVXuser.com was my film school, and it led me to the best job in the world in my eyes, being a Cinematographer. I would not be where i am today without this place.

Thanks to Jarred land for breaking out and making the joint!

Congrats everyone. I'd like to echo what Timur said. I still remember being a know nothing kid with a dream of making a movie. I posted one of those "what kind of lights should I buy" questions on another forum and somebody said "you need to go to DVXUser and do a lot of reading."

Now I own my own production company. Like many people on here this site was/is my film school and was more valuable to me than any "formal" education I've ever received.

Thanks to everyone who make this site what it is. And Jarred, if I ever get the opportunity to meet you, I think I owe you some tuition money. :)

The question is how many of these 1,000,000 posts were performance enhanced like a certain someone I won't mention...

Congrats... junkies.

1,000,000

My word. Seems like only yesterday when this site had a handful of natives.

Jarred; you've done good.

Hey, John, remember when we were all under 300 posts?

Congrats to what is now unquestionably the biggest filmmaking board on the web!

:nads:

This is what I get for getting to sleep early 1 night out of the last year.
Jeez...

Well - all I can say is I've been on just about every forum online at some point, and no matter what I always wind up coming back here.

To Jarred specifically - and to everyone that works hard to keep this the greatest forum online - congratulations on what you've built and thank you for this invaluable, fun, informative, and unique resource.

I came here years ago looking only for information, and actually wound up getting much more.

If anything on this board ever deserved the thumbsup that I give WAY too often...
this is it.

Congratulations!
