On set...help! No image in log and transfer window from P2

I'm running FCP 6.03 and backing up P2 on location as I have done many times before.
For some reason no image appears in Log and transfer window...either from the P2 card itself (the images/icons used to appear from cards automatically) or from 2 drives.
PAnasonics P2 CMS seems to play clips ok.
Help!!!!
