On Camera light for GH1?

Hi, I am wondering if anyone here knows of any lights that will fit in the GH1 hotshoe and that can preferably be used for both video, and still shooting?
So far I have come across the "litepanel micropro hybrid" (http://www.litepanels.com/lp/products/micropro_hybrid.html) which looks really good, but from what I can tell it is not available yet and might be quite expensive...
Are there any other options like this?
thanks

I just purchased one of these 48 led ring lights off of eBay. It's probably not real bright, but then again, I won't need to shoot in total darkness. I'll let you guys know how well it works when it arrives in a few days.

Light came today. Very nice. It comes with various rings to attach to the front of just about any lens up to 67mm. 2 AA batteries go in the shoe mounted power module. Nice even light. I always loved the look of ring lights for photos/video when shooting talent.
Anyway, here are some pix:

Looks good. But perhaps a little bulky for my needs...
When you get a chance, could you post some pictures taken with that setup?

I have a comer 1800 and it punched a hole in my camera. I find it too intense for close ups as its blinding but it does a fantastic job at lighting up a scene. Was thinking of trying to put on some sort of white diffuser sock over it to dull it down abit.

That ring looks shmick but it does seem quite intense also close up. nothing worse than squinting eyes..lol

Hi ALT: Nice find. Thanks for posting.

Question: Does part of the glowing surface of this ring light face _in_ toward the lens front? If so it might be flaring or fogging (causing reduction of contrast) in your video.

It would be interesting to do quick, locked-down, before & after takes showing: With & without some black tape (ideally non-shiny tape) covering that inner surface of the light ring to see if any flare/fogging is happening.

No.. the light faces only out. I'll do some tests.

Still working on review... On vacation/holiday in Siesta Key FL right now (yahooo!!!!!).. but will work on the video as much as I can between pina-coladas and the beach.
