Just wrapped a video with Tila Tequila that we shot on the Canon 7D and 5DMKII.
We shot with the Canon 5DMKII with the new 24p update and a Canon 7D. Diana operated BCAM which was a huge life savor and allowed us to move very quickely and shoot different setups at the same time. We used my rig and I'm now definitely buying the HDMI/SDI splitter and I'm thinking about a wireless follow focus and wireless video solution in the near future. Standard Canon L Zooms and some speciality filters to round out the kit.
This was the first video I experimented with the Canon Pictures Settings. Most of the time I'm onboard with the very poppy and sharp images that come out of the stock Canon HDSLRS but on this one I dialed a slightly more sub-dued look into the camera. I'm not revealing my exact settings but after reviewing the footage I think it helped keep some of the details in the high-mids and highs.
