I'm looking for a wide zoom for my Gh1, and I'm trying to figure out which of these two lenses is a better fit. I shoot video for a living with my GH1, but I also shoot stills on the side using an Oly e520 (and I plan to get the E5 sooner or later).
I like the m4/3 9-18 because its a native m4/3 lens, but I like that I can also use the older 4/3s version on my e520.
Is there a big difference between these two lenses, that it will make more sense to buy the m4/3s version? Does the newer lens focus faster, etc?
