GH3 Olympus 14-35 f2.0 -vs- Voigtlander 17.5mm & 25mm f.95's. Which setup for GH3?

Currently, I have the Voigtlander 17.5mm & 25mm, (also the 42.5mm which I am holding on to)
But I keep looking at the Olympus 14-35 four thirds lens (which was phillip blooms primary lens to use in his short "Genesis" which was filmed with the GH3, and Wondering should I send back my voigtlanders for this beast (I will be using it with the panasonic four thirds to mft adapter)

Anyone could chime in with suggestions? My primary use is video.

What advantages does the Olympus 14-35 f/2 offer? Once upon a time, you could say, 'well, it doesn't have stabilization, and it's less wide by 2 mm, but it's faster than the panny 12-35 f/2.8', but since then we have the Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 which is faster yet, and if you add the SpeedBooster you get 12-25 f/1.2, so you have like 2 lenses in one, depending on the adapter you use, both faster than the Olympus. What focal length do you find yourself shooting with most often? If it's the Voigtlanders, then keep those. If it was me, I'd hang on to the Voigtlanders and buy the Sigma + SB :)

I would LOVE to get a speedbooster because I already have the Sigma 18-35 f1.8, but its for Canon :( :( I wish they would hurry up and release it for the EF to MFT.

But alas, they haven't. So I am stuck at my current dilemma. But I am using the 18-35 on my Canon 70d as my B camera.

So what should I do in my current situation? As far as advantages the Olympus 14-35 have over the voigtlanders is auto focus, and aperature control, plus zoom capability, where the voigt's are all manual. And the voigt's have the extra stops of aperature..so Im not sure what to do here

also the olympus lens is literally two pounds, and im not sure the gh3 can take the weight, especially since its connected by an adapter ring. I feel like the mount may warp, or pop or something.

I just love the idea to have one lens mounted all the time, vs three lenses all the time. But those voigtlanders are oh so beautiful

Having used both... the 14-35's only advantage is convenience and zoom (which can be hefty advantages in the right situations). 4/3 lenses don't autofocus worth a crap on GH cameras, and the CV's have better, smoother aperture control (being manual and all). If you already have a Canon mount 18-35, I'd say stick with what you have for now and some day, SOME DAY, Metabones will release an EF-MFT Speedbooster (and non-boosted) adapter... and then you can reassess if you still need/want the CV's

The Olympus 14 - 35 f 2.0 is a much more logical combination with the AG-AF where it can work as the basic lens for any kind of shooting. I like it but have the feeling pictures coming form it are very contrasty & punchy whereas the Voigts have slightly more welcoming look.

The 14 - 35 is indeed big & heavy and makes a GH2 or GH3 extremely unbalanced. "Work-zooming" is okay, but aperture "searches" in the process. Very sharp and fast indeed.

Still I do not recommend it for a GH camera.

Thanks. I really think this would be the best route. the Olympus 14-35 is so huge, its circumference sticks out below the gh3 body itself. Wowzers....so yea, keeping the voigt's for now, and the day metabones releases the ef to mft, I will pursue that route.

Also, in the mean time, I have the 17.5, 25, and 42.5 to play with!

Thanks all. I appreciate your help!
