Olympic - new soundtrack

disjecta

Lucky Duck
I haven't been doing much shooting recently but plan to do something new in the next few months, just not sure yet.

In the meantime, many of you have seen this before but I worked with Glenn Scott Lacey on a new soundtrack and Martyn Stewart on the nature ambience which gives the whole piece a much stronger presence, in my opinion.

This piece is still in some serious need of color correction, which I never seem to be able to get around to :) It's shot entirely in the Olympic National Park area here in Washington.

This was shot over a year ago using squeeze mode on my DVX100A using f6 and a variety of other settings.

Anyway, for those who haven't seen it, enjoy. Again, no new footage, only new audio.

Always love your work D Man; I have you page Bookmarked anyways.

This really leaps out at you with the Nature Audio Tracks; it really adds a new depth to the piece. I would like to se you do this for all of your pieces going forward !

Outside the footy; how was that effect done on the Olympic Park titles ?

It's with an after effects plugin by trapcode called "shine"

Loved it Disjecta! Your work is always inspiring! The score is incredible as well!

quit making such wonderful nature videos, Disjecta! haha, seriously though, even with squeeze and no color correction, this still looks excellent.

I've never seen this one before, so I don't know what it was like before, but the music and natural sound work really do give it a big boost. :)

I like how you took a slightly different approach in this one and threw in some handheld or steadicam shots. Interesting.

excellent work. I love taking a closer look at the things that make up "nature", and you capture each one beautifully.
