C100: Oled display not flipping

Picked up the C100 MK2 last week and everything seemed fine at first.

But now I can't flip the display, so it's always in the upside down position.

- The mirror image option in the Menu is set to OFF.
- I've reset the camera.

Occasionally, for a split second it flips the correct way. Just turned the camera on now and it was ok, but soon as I angled it, it goes upside down again.

Am I missing something or is this a defective unit?

Thanks

"Occassionally, for a split second it flips the correct way"

That (to me) sounds like there is a intermittent loss of a signal that tells the software that the screen is in the position where it should flip - unless anyone has any better ideas I think Canon needs to look at the camera's cable that is hidden within the hinge. Who did you buy it from? I would get them involved too. Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Send it to seller, then to Canon servics. It should be covered under warranty so don't panic.

Nonetheless, Canins are not known for these annoying reliability issues, strange for a brand new mkII

Thanks. Thought maybe there was an option I needed to select.

Have already emailed the Seller, from whom I buy all my kit from.

This is my 5th Canon camera and the first to go wrong out of the box. :)
